Privacy notice

This notice covers the public Note Superheroes website, managed by Landon Petersen. Teacher accounts at pilot.notesuperheroes.com are a separate service.

When you join the interest list

We collect your email address, the time you signed up, and a record of the updates you requested. We use that information to share curriculum news and notify you when the free Rhythm Refresh Pack is ready. Signing up does not create a teacher account or purchase a subscription.

The list is stored in Supabase. It is not publicly readable, and it is not sold or shared with advertisers. Access is restricted to authorized administration and the server that processes signups.

Website services

Cloudflare hosts the public website, and Supabase processes signup requests. Those services may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, and browser information to deliver and secure the site. The signup database uses short-lived, hashed request counters to limit abuse; it does not store raw IP addresses in the contact list.

Video thumbnails load from YouTube’s image service, which receives your browser’s request. Playing a YouTube video opens YouTube, where Google’s privacy practices apply. We do not place advertising pixels or marketing analytics scripts on these pages.

Your choices

You can ask to leave the list, correct your details, or delete your contact information by emailing [email protected]. Updates will include an unsubscribe option. We retain contact information while it is needed for the requested updates, and may retain a minimal suppression record to honor an opt-out.

No student information

The signup is for adults. Do not submit student names, identifiers, grades, support notes, photographs, or other personal student information. Individual classroom observations belong in the teacher’s physical records.
